WHY LEGACY MATTERS?
We need leaders who choose to widen their time horizon and have a long-term vision. Nowadays, when our attention span is shortening dramatically due to the acceleration of technology, the short-horizon perspective of market-driven economics, the next-election perspective of democracies, we badly need leaders who balance this out, who think about the future. Our kids' future.
Our lives got better in the past century; we live longer, healthier, earn more, not to mention technology's advancement, providing us opportunities we didn't even dream about. Why does it feel like that we are "lost in translation"? To create meaning in our lives, we need to zoom out to see how we can have a positive impact on others' lives.
